  1. Feeling great this morning. I woke up very well rested and my shoulder has not been hurting as much (damn kettle bells!).

    I’m still very early in the 5/3/1 program so my lifts are still quite low. Completing bench this morning was no problem. I also knocked out Speed Bench at 155lbs with no problem. It became a slight challenge at the end, but not nearly as hard as I expect it to be in future sessions.

    My pull-ups sucked. I did three sets of five with a few chin-ups in-between the pull-up sets. Then I added a bonus of 10 singles just to get some extra work in.

    Overall, I’m happy with the session.
