Snatch & Run AMRAP – Freestyle Workout for 28 August 2017

This morning I planned to do some cardio intermixed with some strength endurance training. I’ve been experiencing DOMS all weekend due to the squats I did on Thursday and Friday last week. This called for a good warm up of my lower back and legs before getting started running. All warm up exercises were done at a slow cadence.

Warm Up

  • Ass-to-grass air squats – 20 reps
  • Bend & Reach – 20 reps
  • Side Lateral Squats – 2 minutes
  • Push ups – 25 reps
  • Light stretching

Conditioning

  • Superset, 5 Rounds
  •  – Dumbbell Snatch, 55lbs – 20 reps
  •  – 200 meter Run
  • 800 meter Run
