I’ve just returned from a three month long course that required a lot of high impact cardio; running, jumping, climbing, grappling; and only a minimum amount of strength endurance training in the form of calisthenics.
Today, I’m ready to get back into a regular strength training program. I’ll need to ease my way into it, though. All the running at the course brought back my “crunchy” runner’s knee problem (Chondromalacia), so I want to put a little extra emphasis on strengthening my inner quads.
In the superset, I reped-out as many flys as possible and then matched the number of flys with a light bench press.
